I Didn’t Just Study This Work.. I Lived It

The woman Behind The Therapist

This work became personal long before it became professional.

the woman i had to rebuild

My dad passing was the point where everything finally collapsed in on itself. Years of grief, emotional exhaustion, anxiety, abandonment wounds and searching for love, validation and identity in everyone else had already been building underneath the surface for a long time.. but losing him felt like the final crack in the foundation. The straw that broke the camel’s back.

“Life felt heavy. So did I.”

Internally, there was this constant feeling of being unlovable, unwanted and never quite enough. Existing felt easier than living. Then came the part nobody really prepares you for about rock bottom.. eventually, after lying there emotionally for long enough, you realise nobody is coming to drag you out of it.

“Nobody is coming to drag you out of it.”

And strangely enough, that became the beginning of everything changing. Because for so much of my life, choosing myself felt wrong. Like I was letting people down. Like my needs mattered less. Like my role was to hold everyone else together while slowly abandoning myself in the process.

“The person I had been letting down the most was me.”

But sitting in the watery depths of rock bottom for so long taught me something painful and freeing at the same time.. The person I had been letting down the most was me. So I made a commitment to myself. A decision to start showing up for myself in whatever small way I could each day.

“Choosing myself felt wrong.”

One choice at a time. One boundary at a time. One uncomfortable truth at a time. Those tiny moments slowly became the building blocks of my inner empire.  I stopped searching outside of myself for the love, safety and identity I had spent years craving from everyone else. I stopped giving love endlessly hoping someone would finally hand it back to me in return.

“Instead, I became the love of my own life and reclaimed my place at the centre of it.”

Where Psychology Meets The Subconscious

I’m interested in what’s happening underneath what you already know. The beliefs you absorbed, the roles you learned to play, the ways you learned to find safety, love and belonging, and how those experiences are still shaping the way you respond today.

Psychology helps us understand the pattern. Subconscious work helps us explore where it came from and why it still has such a powerful hold. I bring both together, alongside trauma-informed practice and grounded spirituality, to help you understand yourself beyond another label.

I can turn “How are you?” into a three-hour conversation about human behaviour, childhood and the meaning of life.

A tiny black-and-white forest cat named Sage appeared one day and apparently decided I belonged to her.

I find storms so relaxing

If there are two parts, I'm singing both. Please don't interrupt the performance.

I've been looking up at them since I was little. They've meant different things at different points in my life, but they've always felt like home.

Storms, thunder, tornado documentaries... apparently my nervous system has very specific ideas about ambience.

A huge part of my purpose is challenging the spiritual narratives that keep people disconnected from their own accountability, identity and power.

Too much of the online healing space encourages people to stay inside labels, wounds and victimhood instead of helping them understand themselves more deeply.

My work is about awareness, responsibility, emotional honesty and reconnecting with the self beneath the conditioning.

I’m not interested in teaching women how to stay comfortable inside their wounds.

I want them to remember who they were before survival became their identity.

I want the next generation to have that language sooner.

I want emotional education
to become part of childhood education.

Children learn maths, English and science.
I want them learning how to understand themselves too.

Emotions. Self-awareness. Emotional regulation.
Relationships. Their own psychological world.

Because so much of what we spend adulthood trying to untangle
began when we were children without the language to understand
what was happening inside us.
